1st AH-64E helicopters arrive for National Guard

The first Boeing AH-64E Version 6, or v6, Apache helicopters have been delivered to South Carolina National Guard — the first unit of the National Guard to receive the advanced aircraft. The v6 will offer “improved navigation, communication and weapon systems that will afford the aircrews that fly them a tactical and technical advantage on the battlefield for decades to come,” said commander of the 59th Aviation Troop Command, Col.
