Nearly 100 United Airlines employees who courageously served in the armed forces received a special recognition on Veterans Day. As a ‘thank you’ for their service and sacrifice, United invited these employees – veterans of conflicts as far back as the Korean War – to fly as the honored guests aboard the airline’s brand-new Boeing 737-900ER for the airplane’s ceremonial delivery flight.

Boeing employees who served in the armed forces, representing more than 20,000 veterans in Boeing’s ranks, joined United for this special delivery.
