Dave Dohnalek is senior vice president and treasurer for The Boeing Company, and a member of its Executive Council. He leads the Treasury team in developing strategies to secure Boeing’s financial health through financing, investment and risk management, including managing corporate finance and banking, capital markets, global treasury operations, insurance and pension investments. Additionally, he is chairman of Boeing Capital Corporation, a global provider of aircraft financing and trading solutions, and leads Boeing’s Tax organization, which develops strategies to ensure compliance with global tax laws. Dohnalek also serves as chairman of the world’s largest corporate retirement plan, with approximately $130 billion of assets. As a member of the Executive Council, Dohnalek provides insights on managing the company’s financial health and growth, as well as maintaining strong financial stakeholder relationships.

Dohnalek previously served as vice president of Financial Planning & Analysis. In that role, he was responsible for developing Boeing’s current-year and long-range business plans. Dohnalek also previously served as Boeing’s vice president of Investor Relations, a role in which he led the company’s outreach to the global financial community, including institutional investors and securities analysts. Dohnalek joined Boeing as assistant treasurer of Corporate Finance & Banking in March 2002.

Before joining Boeing, Dohnalek worked for Ameritech Corp. (now AT&T), where he served in progressively responsible leadership positions in treasury, finance and corporate development. He also served as chief financial officer of the Ameritech Foundation and was a member of the supervisory board for Magyar Telekom, one of the largest telecommunications companies in Central Europe.

Dohnalek serves on the boards of Private Export Funding Corporation (PEFCO), World Business Chicago, and NorthShore University HealthSystem, and he previously served on the Chicago Public Library Foundation Board and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation Board. Dohnalek is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.

Dohnalek, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master of Science in engineering from Northwestern University. He also earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern and attended the International Business Program at London Business School.
