Balaji Rangaswamy is vice president of Information Technology & Data Analytics, IT Business Success leader for Boeing Global Services and Supply Chain & ERP Systems. As leader of BGS IT Business Success, Rangaswamy oversees the technical support for all businesses and functions across Global Services. He is responsible for the development and implementation of IT strategy, execution of the IT long-range business plan and development of innovative solutions to ensure successful execution of the Global Services business plan.

In this role, Rangaswamy leads the adoption of transformative enterprise systems architecture as well as developing, supporting, and maintaining the computing application systems for supply chain management and indirect supply chain services for The Boeing Company spanning across commercial, defense and global services businesses. 

Rangaswamy previously served as director of Information Technology, responsible for Digital Enterprise Systems architecture as well as integrating various functions across Boeing Global Services. Additionally, he served as business partner for Distribution & Supply Chain Services as well as Specialty Products and Services. Prior to joining Boeing, Rangaswamy served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for KLX Aerospace Solutions and was responsible for the overall formulation and execution of KLX’s strategic IT vision and goals globally. In addition, he was also responsible for driving operational excellence across the organization through implementation of process improvement initiatives.

Prior to joining KLX, Rangaswamy served as the CIO for Ricoh in the Americas where he played an integral role in the delivery of cutting-edge technology for Ricoh’s internal and external audiences with responsibility for Digital Commerce initiatives as well as improving the company’s mobility strategy.

An Honorary Gold Stevie Award Winner for Turnaround Technology Leadership in 2022, Rangaswamy was also named one of Computerworld’s Premier 100 Technology Leaders in 2016.

Rangaswamy graduated with a B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bombay.
