Boeing

Another first for Air China

Air China is the most profitable airline in the world. The flag carrier for the People's Republic of China is also the world's largest airline by market value. And the airline is clearly a leader when it comes to adding new products and services to its operation.

Most recently, Air China took delivery of its first 777-300ER, making it the first Chinese airline to operate the airplane. The new airplane is one of 19 777-300ERs Air China is adding to its long-haul fleet to strengthen the airline's international competitiveness.

Earlier this year, Air China also became the first Chinese carrier to sign an agreement for the new, fuel-efficient 747-8 Intercontinental, and the first to operate the 737-800 with the new Boeing Sky Interior. A few months before that, Air China became the first Chinese customer for Boeing's Airplane Health Management system.
